Blackwood Academy

Blackwood Academy follows Christopher Argent and a busload of new students arriving at a stone fortress in the mountains, an elite institution that claims to shape the world's leaders. The welcome speeches promise discipline and courage — and, oddly, survival. Within days the class is handed knives instead of textbooks, the older students watch them from the balconies like they already know how this ends, and a squad leader walks them to the tree line to show them claw marks too wide for any animal they can name. Christopher disarms a bigger opponent with instincts he can't explain, hears chains dragging beneath the school, and follows them to a bolted iron door the faculty won't discuss. A dark academia thriller about a school that is training its students for something it hasn't told them about — and about a boy who may already belong to it.
