An action drama following the Elementals, a team of gene-powered fighters, in the aftermath of a war that won't stay won. At its center is Kai, whose fire-wielding strength is bound to a possession mark that grows stronger the more he feels — a brand creeping toward critical instability with every fight. Issue 11 opens on a hard-won victory over Cael's Coven that immediately curdles: the enemy doesn't die, they 'readjust,' and the world the team saved turns on them, rebranding their win as proof they're out of control. Each episode is a tight beat of the same sinking realization — that the battle is over, and the harder war, over fear and truth, is only beginning.
